And just in case anyone needs a "refresher" on just exactly what WAMS is all about, here you go:

Women Against MS is a nationwide education and fundraising program. Terri Garr begin this luncheon several years ago and it has grown to be hosted by more than 20 Chapters of the National MS Society annually.

Here in Albany, WAMS has been taking place for 6 years, led by Christine Sisto Mertes as chair of this great event it has raised nearly $200,000 since its inception. 300 women from around the Capital Region attend each year. This event is a fundraising luncheon that creates an inspiring, motivational and empowering environment for women in our region.  Please consider joining us as a part of this event and assist Capital Region women in the effort to eradicate MS.
